Unique Reinvestment Deposit

Under the URDP (Unique Reinvestment Deposit Plan), the amount invested for a prescribed fixed period will earn interest on compounded basis every quarter.

The depositor gets higher interest than the normal term deposit interest.

Recurring Deposit

A regular monthly investment of fixed amount for a fixed period (from 12 months to 5 years) can be invested.

This is most useful to meet any major expenses like Tax payment, School / College fees, Insurance etc.

Nomination Facilities

Under this scheme, the depositor can nominate a person of his choice as a Nominee to the deposited amount. The details will be recorded and due acknowledgement will be given. A Nominee is entitled to receive the deposit as per the rules. To avail this service the depositor has to give the details at the time of opening the account.
